Good morning.
I'm David Ellis, and I want to extend a very warm welcome to you to this edition of Down to Brasstacks the Monday edition, September 19th, 2022. This welcome is extended to those of you who live here and those of you who don't but want to know what's going on in Barbados and want to get, you know, the different perspectives that we have here on the ground about the challenges that confront us, and there are quite a number of them.
This forum I perhaps need not repeat, but I showed that essentially what we want to do in these sessions will be through, well as far as I'm concerned, the ones that I do would be aimed at trying to look at the various angles to the issues that confront us.
We recognize that there is no one view to any issue that that that is before us, and as much as possible we want to stimulate thinking and ideas.
And those of you who from time to time go through the ritual of telling everybody else that you don't listen to calling programs and try to behave as though as a badge of honour for you.
Uhm, if any of you are with us today but to take the opportunity to perhaps even share your view, because if the calling programs are so bad, you don't have to ask the question, what can you do to help improve them?
